PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work marks a collaboration with Jaipur Rugs, translating the Yoomoota art universe into a textile dimension of extraordinary softness. Handcrafted by rural artisans in Jaipur from wool and viscose, using techniques honed over centuries, the rug reveals a surreal landscape of 23 interconnected planets — reflections of the vast intricacies of human existence. Composed of biomorphic and fantastical motifs, this tactile map awaits a pioneer who will, step by step, blaze a trail through its layered narrative. EXHIBITIONS: PAD Art + Design 2026 (Paris).
Sketch → 3D sculpting → photopolymer printing → surface finishing repeated up to five times → hand painting in two-three acrylic layers → assembly on brass pins. Every piece is painted by hand — no two are alike.
