PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Pillman is an iconic character that explores the delicate balance between healing and dependence. Crafted from plastic in the form of pills and meticulously hand-painted with acrylics, his body is composed of antibiotics, vitamins, and other pharmaceuticals. The sculpture reflects human vulnerability and our increasing reliance on instant relief. It serves as a reminder that true transformation begins within — through awareness, self-education, and inner work. SPECIFICATIONS: A combination of plastic and metal is used in the sculpture, as well as hand painting with acrylic paints. The body of Pillman consists of pills that incarnate real medicines: antibiotics, vitamins and many others. Wantland is a planet created by PillMan and his henchmen from the Potato-1 station. Each of them embodies a human addiction. The planet is divided among four kings — PillMan, Candy Lady, GameBoy and Commune. They are not at odds: it is a place of countless trials, where those who pass receive a worthy reward.
