PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Lymphochair is an iconic piece that reimagines the classical form of a chair. Inspired by the intricate beauty of biological cells, it symbolizes a vital part of us — the lymphocytes. Designed to balance aesthetic appeal with functional purpose, it transforms the organic form of an immune cell into an experience that is both visually striking and ergonomically refined. The removable backrest reveals a spherical, legged seat. Filled with polyurethane foam and upholstered in wool, it offers lasting comfort, minimal maintenance, and smart temperature adaptation — retaining warmth in the cold and releasing it on warmer days. SPECIFICATIONS: The chair consists of a deep white pinkish felt cover, silver or white metal rods and blue or brown straps. The back of a chair can be removed and the spherical chair legged seat remains. A soft filling is made of polyurethane foam. The upholstery is made of wool, which does not require unnecessary cleaning and perfectly keeps the heat in a cold room temperature, and gives it up on hot days. Sketch → 3D sculpting → photopolymer printing → surface finishing repeated up to five times → hand painting in two-three acrylic layers → assembly on brass pins. Every piece is painted by hand — no two are alike.
